Namaste!
I am so grateful to finally have yoga in my life! I have always been intrigued by it but never could afford to start to learn...then I found out about third street beach yoga, a donation based class. Since then I've found tons of donation based and cheap yoga events in my city. The more classes I took and community meditations I joined, the more intrigued I became by yoga. Coincidentally, third street beach yoga also allowed me to find my school of choice for yoga teacher training, my favorite teacher being one of my teachers now. Before yoga I was never really comfortable with myself and didn't really know who I was. I was always a social butterfly but had different groups of friends. I also went through different style phases with clothing, music, and beauty.Yoga has given me a lot of self respect. Your body is the only place you HAVE to live in in this life, you only have one it should be treated like a temple.I have always believed in karma and reincarnation even as a young child before I even understood what religion was. I'm beyond excited and at the same time terrified of the spiritual journey this yoga teacher training and life afterwards will take me. I have A LOT to know I definitely don't know as much as the spiritual side of yoga as my sister Alisha. I'm so grateful my sister is going on the journey with me.I plan to start teaching yoga immediately after training. I plan to get a part time job after training rather than full time. In my free days I will teach and eventually fill all my days with doing things that I love for money. I plan on doing more than just yoga and also teaching yoga to kids. I have quite a long list but the next training I will get is Pilates instructor training.Life is too short to have to pick just one thing to do for the rest of your life. You should be able to do what you love.. That's the only way you are actually living life rather than waiting for it to finally be the weekend and only living then. You shouldn't have to be a robot during the week.Namaste!
